Write for MedMoneyGuide

MedMoneyGuide has no open staff positions at this time. However, we welcome inquiries from physician contributors, experienced medical finance writers, and organizations interested in partnerships.

No Staff Positions Currently Open

MedMoneyGuide is currently a small, founder-led operation. We are not hiring for full-time or part-time staff roles at this time. This page will be updated if that changes. For contributor and partnership inquiries, see below.

Physician Contributors

MedMoneyGuide's editorial model is built on firsthand physician experience. If you are a practicing physician who has navigated a specific financial challenge and has something substantive to add — a specialty-specific student loan strategy, a disability claim experience, an unusual contract negotiation outcome — we are open to discussing a contributed piece.

Physician contributors are credited by name and credentials. We do not publish anonymous content. A good fit for physician contribution looks like this:

  • You are a practicing physician with direct experience navigating the financial topic you want to write about
  • You can speak from personal experience — not generic advice rebranded for doctors
  • You are comfortable with attribution and having your credentials listed alongside your piece
  • You understand the difference between educational content and personalized financial advice

Financial Writers

MedMoneyGuide occasionally works with experienced freelance writers who specialize in physician-focused financial content. This is not a general financial writing opportunity — the bar for physician finance content is specific and high. All content goes through editorial review by Dr. Dunigan before publication.

We are interested in writers who meet the following criteria:

  • You have a demonstrable track record writing physician-focused or medical professional financial content
  • You understand physician-specific financial concepts: PSLF, own-occupation disability, attending compensation structures, backdoor Roth IRAs
  • You can source claims from primary data — AAMC, MGMA, IRS, Medscape — not secondary blogs
  • You are willing to submit to editorial review and fact-checking

Please include published samples of physician-focused financial writing with any inquiry.

Partnership Inquiries

Financial Services Partnerships

If you represent a financial product or service relevant to physicians — student loan refinancing, disability insurance, financial planning — and want to discuss advertising or affiliate relationships, reach out. All commercial relationships are handled transparently per our Advertising Disclosure.

Medical Association or Residency Program Partnerships

MedMoneyGuide is open to educational partnerships with residency programs, fellowship programs, and medical associations that want to provide financial literacy resources to their trainees. These partnerships are evaluated for editorial independence.

Content Licensing

If you are interested in licensing MedMoneyGuide content — guides, calculators, or educational modules — for use on a hospital, group practice, or academic medicine intranet, contact us to discuss terms.
