Partnerships

Work with MedMoneyGuide

We’re open to working with companies and organizations that serve physicians, under rules that keep our comparisons independent. MedMoneyGuide is run by a physician, Joshua Dunigan, DO, and its comparisons rest on published terms, not payments.

Where things stand today

MedMoneyGuide has no affiliate, advertising, or sponsorship relationships yet. Every link on the site is a plain link. This page sets out what we would accept and the rules any partner agrees to; the Advertising Disclosure will be updated before the first arrangement begins.

Audience

Who reads MedMoneyGuide

Physicians at every stage, from medical students and residents to attendings negotiating their second contract, looking for answers they can act on: what their specialty pays, whether to stay on PSLF or refinance, which disability policy to buy, and whether a physician mortgage beats a conventional loan.

Partnership types

What we’re open to

Referral partnerships

For products we already compare or would include on their merits: student loan refinancing, physician mortgage lenders, disability insurance, and banking. Links are labeled as paid where they appear, and the product is ranked exactly where it would be without the arrangement.

Good fit: Student loan refinancing, physician mortgages, own-occupation disability insurance, high-yield savings

Newsletter sponsorship

One clearly labeled sponsor per monthly issue, sent only to physicians and trainees who confirmed their subscription. Sponsors get a short, labeled message; they do not get the subscriber list.

Good fit: Products and services built for physicians

Calculator sponsorship

A “Sponsored by” credit on a relevant calculator. The math, defaults, and results stay ours, and the calculator never favors the sponsor’s product.

Good fit: Lenders, insurers, and planning firms related to a calculator’s topic

Education and licensing

Financial literacy material for residency programs, medical schools, and medical associations, or licensed guides and calculators for a hospital or group practice intranet.

Good fit: Program directors, GME offices, medical societies, physician groups

Editorial independence

The rules every partner agrees to

These aren’t negotiable. They’re why physicians trust what they read here, and that trust is what a partnership with us is worth.

  1. 01Rankings, ratings, and “best” picks are never for sale. A partner ranks where its published terms put it.
  2. 02No partner sees, edits, or approves a page before it is published.
  3. 03We keep covering competitors, and we can say where a partner’s product falls short.
  4. 04Every paid link or sponsorship is labeled where it appears, and our Advertising Disclosure is updated before it starts.
  5. 05We never sell or share reader contact information or dashboard data.
  6. 06We don’t sell links, guest posts, or “link insertions,” and we don’t publish sponsored articles.
  7. 07We can end an arrangement if a product’s terms or service change for the worse.

Selection

How we choose partners

We only work with products we would recommend to a colleague on their published terms. Before any arrangement, we check rates, fees, and policy language ourselves, the same way we do for our reviews. Insurance partners must be licensed in the states they serve, and referral fees for insurance are flat fees, not commissions on a policy.

Saying yes to a partnership doesn’t change what we write about you, and saying no doesn’t either.
